I’ve known both Aisha and Arran for many years and they are the definition of a power couple. Aisha is an intelligent, beautiful, and very passionate woman. I love her persistence and how much she fights for the LGBTQIA+ community. Her mission for her tattoo shop being an inclusive space for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ people is something the tattoo industry needs. Aisha will always make sure your needs are met.
Arran is an incredible tattoo artist and also an incredible man. He has done quite a few of my tattoos and we are currently working on a cover-up project on my left arm that will eventually be an entire sleeve. He is a brilliant artist with a vision that no one could comprehend. He will always make you feel incredibly safe no matter your gender identity or race. I, being a transgender man, always have anxiety about being tattooed in shops because of the spaces not being inclusive and I have never felt that way with Arran. I have even had emails flat out ignored being openly transgender and sometimes have felt like I do not belong, but Arran and Aisha make me feel like I do belong. Being tattooed is a very vulnerable situation and Arran will always treat you with the utmost respect and always consider your safety physically and mentally. You will have a tattoo for a lifetime and a wonderful experience to remember every time you look at your new tattoo.
Arran and Aisha are also always learning and always open to feedback about making this experience the best it can be for anyone.
I cannot recommend Pearl Street Tattoo enough!
